  • 1 lb ground turkey Opt for lean ground turkey for lower fat content.
  • 1 small onion, diced finely Sweet onions work well for flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated Fresh Parmesan adds a more robust flavor.
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise Can substitute with plain Greek yogurt.
  • 1 tsp hot sauce Adjust based on your preference for heat.
  • 1 clove garlic, minced Fresh garlic is recommended.
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme Or 1 tsp fresh, chopped.
  • 1/2 tsp dried sage Or 1 tsp fresh, chopped.
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary Or 1 tsp fresh, chopped.
  • 1/2 tsp salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp pepper Freshly ground.
  • 1 tsp parsley, chopped For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, gently combine all ingredients. Don’t overmix.
  2. If the mixture feels wet, refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  3. Roll the mixture into balls about 1 1/4 inches in diameter.
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil and preheat to 400°F.
  5. Place meatballs in a single layer in the basket and air fry for about 10 minutes, turning halfway through.
  6. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the center reaches 165°F.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

These meatballs freeze well both raw and cooked. They can be reheated in the microwave or air fryer for a crispy texture.
