Chili Seasoning Ingredients
  • 8 tbsp paprika (Sweet or smoked) Smoked paprika adds a wonderful depth. Use half and half if desired.
  • 2 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp cayenne pepper Add more if you like it hotter!
  • 2 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt
  • 2 tsp ground coriander

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, add all the ground spices. Using a whisk or a spoon, combine them thoroughly for an even flavor distribution.
  2. Taste the blend and adjust the salt, cayenne, or any spices according to your preference.
  3. Transfer the completed chili seasoning into an airtight container. Label and store in a cool, dry pantry.

Notes

Storage: Lasts up to six months in an airtight container away from light, heat, and moisture. You can also create larger batches to have on hand for spicy dishes or to give as gifts.
