Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 juices limes Juice from 2 limes
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 lb skirt or flank steak Choose high-quality, grass-fed for better flavor
For Assembly
  • 6 pieces corn tortillas Warm before filling
  • 1 fresh onion (diced)
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro (roughly chopped)
  • 1 radish (sliced) For crunch
  • 1 piece avocado For salsa
  • 2 pieces lime wedges To serve

Method
 

Marination
  1. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, and paprika for a flavorful marinade.
  2. Add the steak, ensuring it’s evenly coated. Let it marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Grilling
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Grill the marinated steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for a perfect medium-rare finish.
  3. Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds per side until they’re warm and pliable.
  4. Allow the steak to rest for 5 minutes before slicing it against the grain.
Assembly
  1. On each tortilla, layer the sliced steak, diced onion, chopped cilantro, crunchy radish, and creamy avocado.
  2. Serve with wedges of lime on the side for squeezing over the top.

Notes

For a beautiful presentation, serve your tacos on a wooden platter, garnished with extra lime wedges and sprigs of cilantro. Pair with a fresh Mexican beer or a tangy margarita.
